2026 Festival of Faith and Writing

Niala Boodhoo is a veteran journalist, host and moderator who values warmth, empathy and curiosity. She's been a journalist since 2000 for news organizations including Reuters, The Miami Herald and Axios. Currently the Founder of Glad You're Here Productions, you can hear her many Fridays on NPR stations across the US hosting the Friday News Roundup on 1A. She has hosted and moderated live events during COP28 in Dubai, the World Economic Forum in Davos, UN General Assembly, and for organizations including Axios, Ascend at the Aspen Institute, and the Religion News Service. A proud graduate of Calvin University, she currently is in her second term serving on its Board of Trustees.
